Hello

Gorgeous…

My name is Emma; Welcome to the Daydream!

I’m a recent college graduate who decided that life is too freaking short to not create something magical out of it. I didn’t want to just daydream about something, I wanted to actually live it. And that way of thinking led me here…

SO NICE TO MEET YOU!

So Like….

Are we about to be

Best Friends?

If you’re reading my blog - it probably means that we have at least one thing in common: Travel! (and if I’m being honest, I don’t even need one thing in common to want to be someone’s friend :’)

But, in an attempt to find another link between us, here’s a little word vomit: I’m Lady Gaga’s number one fan, I was a Political Science and Spanish major in University, I’m obsessed with literally all food, I love learning, rhinos, hiking, reading, iced chai lattes, and true crime podcasts. And that’s basically all there is to me!

How it all started:

I got my first real taste of travel when I was 14 years old, when I went to volunteer at an orphanage in Bolivia for a few weeks with my dad and some friends from our church. I quickly fell in love with travel and the people you can meet in the process, and returned when I was 16 - this time for the summer. From there, I went on to study abroad once in India and once in the South of Spain, and then decided to move to South Korea after graduation!

Nothing has every come easy - from getting rejected from my initial job applications in South Korea, to saving every bit of extra money to fund my travels, to starting a travel blog in the middle of a global pandemic - but my motto has always been:

“Find a Way

or Make

One.”

The To-Do List

Since falling in love with the world, the bucket list has only grown. I want to volunteer at a rhino rehabilitation center in Africa, I want to get yoga teacher certified in Nicaragua. I want to go to burning man and float in the dead sea and sail to Antarctica. Shark cage diving in South Africa and seeing the pyramids in Egypt and taking cooking classes in Mexico - the list is never ending! I think it would be faster to talk about what’s NOT on the list.

My goal is to show you that travel is accessible, it does not have to take the form of some out-of-reach luxury hotel and flowy dresses at the top of a mountain. Travel is so much more than that, and no matter your budget or your time constraints, I’m going to show you that the world is your oyster.
